Change Proceed To Checkout Text provides a simple settings screen for changing the WooCommerce cart checkout button text without code.
The core Proceed to Checkout text feature remains free and supports both classic WooCommerce carts and the modern Cart Block.
Advanced functionality lets licensed customers customise additional WooCommerce labels including Add to Cart, Place Order, View Cart, Update Cart, Apply Coupon, Return to Shop and Select Options. It also adds a custom checkout destination and conditional Proceed to Checkout rules based on product, product category or minimum cart total, cart quantity, product type, login status, customer role, chosen shipping method or chosen payment method. Product and category rules use searchable WooCommerce selectors, so store owners do not need to look up numeric IDs. Advanced settings are retained if a licence is deactivated; only their execution is disabled.

- Install and activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings > Checkout Button Text.
- Enter your preferred Proceed to Checkout text and save.
- Advanced customers can purchase the upgrade at https://arrowdesign.ie/product/change-proceed-to-checkout-text-advanced/ and enter their licence key on the same settings page.

The plugin works and does the job in an excellent way. The code is easy and does not alter the website speed in a negative way. I can recommend this plugin to anyone who does not have programming experience but wants to change the ‘proceed to checkout’ button text.

I recently downloaded the plugin ‘Change proceed to checkout text’ by arrow design. The plugin is very helpful for someone who does not have any experience with coding. In my case, my customers do not have to pay until my consultancy service is done. Hence, to prevent conversion loss I did not want to have the term ‘Checkout’ in my order placement procedure. This plugin has solved this all at once, by simply giving a text field to insert your own custom text. The text is subsequently written in the same style of my theme, which is the mountain theme from ASTRA. With regards to the support from the Arrow Design team, I have nothing but positive words. My support question with regards to a personal request was handled very quickly, 2-3 hours, and solved as I had in mind. I want to thank Cathal and his team for their support.

After many hours trying to change the name of the “Proceed to Checkout” button, I found this plugin that solved my problem, I had tried with codes in functions.php and nothing succeeded.
