GENE Motion Blocks adds a 3D Ring gallery block to the WordPress block editor. It is CSS-native first, ships its own tiny JavaScript, loads nothing from third-party CDNs, and falls back gracefully — so it never breaks your pages and never hijacks the scrollbar.
Add it from the block inserter under the GENE Motion category:
- 3D Ring — your images arranged on a rotating 3D ring with depth-aware lighting and an optional floor reflection. It can auto-rotate, tilt toward the cursor, and be spun by dragging, scrolling or the arrow keys. Built on CSS 3D transforms, which Safari, Firefox and Chromium all support.
Never-break by design. The block degrades to a plain, responsive gallery when 3D transforms aren’t supported, when motion is reduced (prefers-reduced-motion), or when JavaScript is off. Your images are always visible.
No libraries, no lock-in. No jQuery, no GSAP, nothing loaded from someone else’s CDN. The block’s front-end script only loads on pages that actually use it. Deactivate the plugin and your content stays as native markup.

The free plugin ships the 3D Ring. GENE Motion Blocks Pro adds a suite of scroll & motion blocks — Snap Sections (with Cover / Split / Quote / Stats / CTA presets), a Horizontal Scroll Gallery, a Fan Gallery and a Scroll Spin Gallery — plus the full per-block design controls and priority support. Does the 3D Ring slow down my site?

No. There are no external libraries and no CDN requests. The block’s front-end script is only loaded on pages that contain the block.

What happens on older browsers or with reduced motion?

The block falls back to a plain, responsive gallery. Your images are always visible; the 3D motion is a progressive enhancement.

Will my content break if I deactivate the plugin?

The saved content is native block markup, so your images remain in place. The 3D styling is provided by the plugin, so the motion stops, but the layout and content stay intact.
